Thanks for visiting Belles on a Budget!
I'm so glad you've found your way here!! Belles on a Budget was created by me- Amy- so I could stop driving all of my friends crazy with my money-saving wedding tips and make you all crazy/share my ideas with you instead. Belles combines my love of finding an amazing deal with my passion of weddings and event planning. I use my experience as an event planner for a non-profit (the ultimate test in stretching a budget!) and my love for getting more bang for your wedding buck in the articles, tips, deals and inspiration you'll find on this site.
The "we" of Belles represents the group of event planners, do-it-yourselfers, brides, bridesmaids and friends, who have contributed to this site. I really can't take credit for this all, and their help and support has been tremendous. Thank you all!
Belles on a Budget is all about having a fabulous, stylish wedding without spending your life savings. Today many brides and grooms pay for their own weddings, have other expenses like college loans and mortgages, are living on limited income, or want to save their money to use for their first home, a new car, or a fabulous trip, and can’t spend lavishly for the wedding of their dreams. But at the same time, I was right there with you, planning my wedding at 5 years old, and I know what an incredibly special, exciting time this is. You should have that beautiful wedding you and your friends talked about at recess! (With some minor adjustments—those pony rides could probably go…)
